Webex Teams is ideal for projects that require continuous team engagement, context, and persistent history, such as committees, course group work, student organizations, department projects, and more! Webex Teams simplifies collaboration by incorporating three ways to interact in one location: video meetings, group messaging, and file sharing.

This is generic content, but most of it applies to CSIRO's implementation of Webex. Cisco Webex is an app for continuous teamwork. Move work forward in secure work spaces where everyone can contribute anytime with messaging, file sharing, white boarding, video meetings, calling, and more. It works on virtually any device, with these top benefits for mobile app users. When making mobile audio and video calls using the Cisco Webex Team app, the app uses Hybrid Call Service to become a softphone client of your call control. Webex Teams users can make and receive calls to anyone through their extensions using the company dial plan, just as if they were at their desks.

Use Mobile Device Management to Configure Cisco Webex Meetings IT administrators can use a Mobile Device Management (MDM) AppConfig service to configure the Webex Meetings app on managed mobile devices. This way, administrators can control user access to app functions such as sign in methods, meeting sources, and video access. To make the Webex app a softphone client, create at least one device for every user that you're configuring for Calling in Webex (Unified CM). Webex for desktop and mobile registers to Unified CM using the same softphone device types as Cisco Jabber.
