All you need to remember is one single Master Password – your one password – that unlocks all of the random, unique passwords the 1Password app has generated for you. Cyber safety is streamlined with password managers like LastPass.

The free service saves and conceals passwords for any and all of your internet accounts. The only thing that's required of you is a master password created in LastPass.

And although the passwords are encrypted, nonetheless you may from time to time feel nervous about the security of your accounts.

Fortunately, there is a way to have LastPass automatically change a password under its care: LastPass's Auto-Change Password, as the tool is called, is available for Chrome and Safari in Beta on several dozen of the web's most popular sites.

The feature is great for a few reasons: it makes changing your password a breeze, which is good for being cyber secure, and second, LastPass will come up with an obscure password for you — one you'll never have to memorize yourself, thanks to the master password.

Here's a step-by-step guide to auto-change passwords in LastPass.

How to auto-change passwords in LastPass

1. Log in to LastPass at LastPass.com using Safari or Chrome on a PC or Mac. You'll automatically be redirected to the 'My LastPass Vault' page.

2. In the vault, hover your cursor over the account with a password you'd like to change. A small icons menu will pop up. Click the wrench.

3. Click the 'Auto-Change Password' option if it's available beneath the 'Site password' box: Many of the most popular sites, like Facebook and Amazon have the option, but not all, like Netflix, for instance.

4. Click 'Change Password Now.'

LastPass will do the rest from here, but fair warning: The automatic password changing process may not always be successful.
