The Neo Smartpen N2 does require that you use Neo’s paper to record your notes. It can transcribe 16 different languages including German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, Korean, Dutch. The companion app, Neo Notes, is compatible with Evernote, Google Drive Manager, OneNote, and Creative Cloud. OFFERS A REPLACEABLE INK CARTRIDGE - The Neo Smartpen uses Standard D1-Type pen tip, and you can always replace it with D1 refills. * Please be informed that

• After December 31st, 2020, you can still access the Neo Notes app and use the service. However, technical support such as security updates or bug fixes will no longer be provided.
• You can still back up your data even after the technical support is ended.

How to safely back up handwritten data

Transfer data from Neo Notes to Google Drive by 31st December, 2020.

Please make sure you are connected to the network.

Please create a google account if you do not have one.

Open the menu from top left corner, select [Setting], then select [Authentication Center].

Swipe 'Google' to the right to ON then log in to your Google account.

Go back to the Settings page, select [Backup and Restore], then swipe 'Google Drive' to the right to ON.

Select [Backup and Restore] from the top left menu.

After selecting all notes from [My Library] at the bottom of the screen, click [Upload] and wait for the upload to complete.

* If you have your notes in the Notebox, upload it to Google Drive in the same way!

When the backup is complete, go to Google Drive and make sure the data has been backed up properly.

Connect to mobile app Neo Studio.

① Select [...] from the menu at the bottom of the screen

② Select [Import Neo Notes data]

You can now import your data backed up in Google Drive.

Neo Notes is an exclusive app for Neo Smartpens that transfers your notes on paper to digital world. What you write on Digital Paper with Neo Smartpen appears identically on Neo Notes. You can easily archive and share your notes with other people. Capture your ideas, send them to the bigger audiences, and make greater use of them through Neo Notes.

Save and Share

Check the email icon on paper or share your notes through social media services. You can export your notes in various formats (even in Text with transcribing function) to your cloud (Google Drive, Dropbox, and more). If you don't want to miss a thing, Autosync with Evernote. Then all your notes will be automatically shared to your Evernote account.

Edit your writing

Erase unnecessary notes and highlight important ones with colors. You can change color, thickness of handwritten part and add annotations digitally. Edit your notes and make your own presentation in Neo Notes app.

Open and Write

Simply start writing with the Neo smartpen on NcodeTM paper. The Neo smartpen will automatically turn on and recognize what page or notebook you are writing on. Neo Notes does not have to be open while writing, as the Neo smartpen will remember up to 1000 pages by itself. When connected to the app, you can utilize the voice record function to store surrounding sounds synchronized with the strokes.
